“ Amazing local Mexican spot. The queso and salsa were great. The margaritas are delicious. Overall an awesome spot. Our waitress, Julia, was great too! ”
“ This is one of the closest places Ive found to home New Mexixo restaurants in Colorado. Ive had a few others, but this is one of the top. I had the Chile Rellenos. Very good. Friends had posole, and Huevos Rancheros. All were very authentic to New Mexico. And the decorations, atmosphere were also authentic to home. Very nicely done!! ”
“ Our waitress Julia was extremely kind and attentive. The food and margaritas are always delicious my favorite is the fish burrito. Their prices are so reasonable and the multiple fireplaces around the restaurant are so inviting. ”
“ Amazing spot. Food and drinks are great. Employers are great too! Get the hot green sauce and try the carnitas ”
“ Rained out fishing brought us to this hoppin restaurant! Seated immediately, quick and polite service, wide variety of menu options. Delicious and extremely well priced! Will be coming up to monument just for this place! ”
“ This has always been our favorite local family run Mexican restaurant. Food is great, service is spot on and view is awesome. ”
“ Best Mexican in the area by far! Have been going for years and it never disappoints! Great chips and salsa, always get the guacamole. Enchiladas are great and hard shell tacos taste amazing!! ”
“ We are so happy that we accidentally stumbled upon this place! We were taking back roads to Denver, and were just going to grab something there. However, our tummies started disliking that decision as were were checking out downtown Monument and drove by La Casa. Mexican food? YEP! Its such a beautiful restaurant, and I didnt even see the inside lol. We sat outside on a nice day. Now heres the thing. As a former Texan, Im ALWAYS on the hunt for good Tex Mex or authentic Mexican. When I say the food is good, you just need to believe me. In a state that thinks chopping a few veggies up in a bowl of tomato sauce is salsa, I was very, very happy with the chips and salsa!! It tastes like real salsa! Chips were warm and fresh. The best way to enjoy chips and salsa is with a Peach Mojito and a Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita. Both were delicious, but there wasnt any jalapeno flavor. Just a few rings of fresh jalapeno. I suggest infusing some tequila with the fresh jalapeno to give it a bite! My wife ordered Chicken Enchiladas with Cream Sauce. In Texas, Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas are a staple, but you can only get red and green sauce in Colorado. No chili con carne, chili con queso, or sour cream sauce in Colorado. The cream sauce here is outstanding! Not quite the same, but satisfied the craving. I had the Tamale and Chili Colorado plate. For the Texans, Chili Colorado is similar to Guiso, or Carne Guisada. Its a deep red sauce, full of flavor. La Casa once again killed a craving Ive had. I could seriously sit down with a plate full of the Chili Colorado and tortillas. So good! The tamale was really delicious as well! I really encourage EVERYONE reading this to stop looking at other restaurants, and go to La Casa Fiesta! ”
